I honestly cannot say enough great things about the Coop! I work near the Market so I end up here for lunch at least once a week. Sometimes I even end up grabbing dinner from the Coop as well!
I have yet to find something I didn't like at the Coop. From their amazing chicken to delicious sides like Mac & Cheese, Loaded Potato Salad, Poutine (with real curds!!), Mashed Potatoes or Kale Caesar salad - anything you grab at the Coop will be filling, delicious and leave you wanting to try more. My personal favorite is the chicken pot pie. The serving is VERY generous and the chicken pot pie is like a warm hug on a cold day. It's definitely the ultimate comfort food.
Don't take my word for it! Try the Coop yourself - you'll be hooked too! -

Delicious delicious delicious. My SO loves the chicken here. Local and organic so it definitely tastes better. My favourite thing here is the Mac and cheese. It's all local and organic so the price reflects this. It's also NOT the place to go if you want health food. It's definitely THE PLACE TO GO if you're looking for indulgent comfort food.

I was amongst those saddened when Manito's moved out of the market ... but not for long!
The Petit Paris people expanded last spring and have opened "The Coop" which I'm delighted to announce is even better. They offer rotisserie chicken of course - but also sandwhiches, soups, quiches, salads and more! Oh and prices are as amazing as they food - as an example fountain drinks are only $1.00. Yes, you read that correctly.
My personal faves are the mac and cheese - which is SO good and the pountine which is absolutelt humungous and served with fresh cheese curds slathered in gravy. It's quickly becoming my go-to spot for an afforadable, yet filling lunch.
I also see lots of people picking up chicken to bring home for dinner and they also offer catering. Run don't walk to the Coop as there is something for everyone and the prices are right. Bon appetit! -

I can officially confirm that The Coop Rotisserie is pretty dang good! Popped over here to grab lunch to go. My fiance opted for the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and side, which he said had a lot of meat on it and was good quality. I opted for a Broccoli & Aged Cheddar Quiche with side. We both got the macaroni which we already knew we liked.
My only minor, teeny tiniest complaint was for me the Quiche was a bit too milky/runny at the core. A good Quiche should stay fairly firm all the way through in my opinion but the taste... bang on!! Definitely will keep this in my radar for future lunching at the Market.
